About Paladin
Thirty-Six Years, Two Generations, One State
Cal Corsi founded Paladin in 1990 to do one thing well. His son Kevin runs the company today, and the principle hasn't changed.
Our Story
Cal Corsi founded Paladin Protective Systems in Northeast Ohio in 1990 to do one thing well: install fire alarm systems that work and keep working. His son Kevin runs the company today, and the principle hasn't changed — we take on the buildings we can still service in twenty years.
What has changed is the scope. A building that needed a fire panel in 1990 now needs access control, cameras, nurse call, paging and a monitoring path that doesn't run over a phone line nobody maintains anymore. Rather than hand those off, we built the engineering, programming and service capability to deliver all of it under one contract.
Paladin Protective Systems is an Ohio Subchapter S corporation, licensed as a contractor in Cuyahoga County and registered to perform fire equipment work. We are registered in SAM.gov for federal contracting and routinely work prevailing-wage public projects.
In-House Engineering
Most contractors subcontract their design work. Paladin doesn't. Our in-house team includes senior CAD designers, systems engineers, programmers, and project managers — the people who design your system are the same organization that installs and services it.

What a Systems Integrator Actually Does
Most buildings end up with a different contractor for the fire alarm, the cameras, the card readers and the paging system — four companies, four invoices, and nobody who can tell you why the lockdown didn't trigger.
In about eighty seconds, here is how we do it differently.
Where We Work
Valley View, just south of Cleveland, is our headquarters and warehouse. Worthington covers Columbus and central Ohio. Between them we serve all of Ohio, with 25 installation and service trucks on the road.
What's in the Building
Systems engineers, CAD designers, system programmers, project managers, licensed installers and service technicians — plus the inspection team that keeps hundreds of Ohio buildings on schedule.
