Conference & Presentation A/V
BASF Beachwood, Ohio
Conference and presentation A/V built on a Crestron 3-Series DigitalMedia backbone for video distribution and system control. A 9" Crestron wireless touch screen drives the room over an InfiNET RF gateway. Audio runs through Crestron Saros ceiling speakers and an Avia DSP handling conferencing with acoustic echo cancellation for speech intelligibility. Ten Shure MXW8 wireless gooseneck microphones feed the DSP over Dante. Barco ClickShare provides wireless presentation from laptops and from Apple and Android devices, so the room is not tied to a physical input. Two 80" displays and a fixed projection screen allow three sources to be shown on whichever output the client chooses.
Athletic Field Sound
Streetsboro Stadium, Streetsboro, Ohio
Athletic field sound system with pole-mounted loudspeakers and a head-end rack built for an outdoor environment. Two Crown amplifiers, a Tascam CD player and BSS BLU-100 processing with a BLU-10 wall controller, with lightning suppression mounted in the junction box beside the rack — the detail that keeps an outdoor system alive through an Ohio summer.
Active Learning & Simulation
University Nursing Simulation Lab, Ohio
An active learning classroom designed to operate as three independent rooms, two larger rooms or one combined space. Equipped with five projectors and screens plus three 80" displays. In the adjacent bedside skills lab, eight 24" displays, two 80" displays and three Axis cameras on a Crestron control system let instructors observe and replay students working on simulated patients.
